A 46-year-old school bus driver in Port Perry was arrested for drunk driving after North Durham Regional Police received an anonymous tip. The caller informed police of a man who was intoxicated and in no condition to be driving his school bus.
The man was arrested just after 7 AM on February 27th, refueling his bus at a gas station. He had not yet picked up any children.
The man was arrested without incident and is awaiting a bail hearing.
