Mississauga Man Jailed After Drunk Driving Death

A 34-year-old father of two was sentenced to 18 months in jail after the impaired driving death of a taxi driver in 2005. He is also prohibited from driving for two years, and was charged with three counts of impaired driving causing bodily harm because of injuries given to the taxi’s passengers.

The incident occurred July 2nd 2005, when the man crashed his car head-on into a taxi at approximately 3 a.m. The man had a blood alcohol level of more than 200, which is over two and a half times the legal limit.
