Edmonton police officers stopped a suspected impaired driver who was operating a tractor in the city.
Police say the man rode into a city construction site on Friday, March 20, 2009, with a front bucket and backhoe attached asking for his machine to be serviced.
He took off on the tractor after being told the work could not be done at that location. A city worker suspected the man was drunk and tracked the tractor down near a hotel.
The worker called police, who stopped the driver and charged him with impaired driving and driving while suspended.
